Ponad 600 artystów, przedstawicieli wszystkich nurtów i gatunków muzycznych zjedzie na przedłużony weekend 25-28 czerwca do angielskiego Glastonbury na jeden z największych festiwali muzycznych na świecie. Event odbędzie się na 22. scenach i pod namiotami, rozsianymi po całym miasteczku. Właściwie to miasteczko stanie sie areną festiwalową, nie licząc kilku zamkniętych obiektów. Polskiemu Heineken Open'er Festival jeszcze daleko do tego i rozmachu imprezy...

Festiwal zmienił się w piątek w stypę po królu popu - Michaelu Jacksonie. Poszczególni artyści na żywo przygotwywali interpretacje hitów zmarłego nagle muzyka. W strefie klubowej DJ-e samplowali jego utwory. Nie zabrakło koszulek z wizerunkiem MJ-a...
W wielkim koncertowaniu koło angielskiego miasteczka uczestniczyło ok. 200 tys. ludzi z wszystkich zakątków świata. Na wyżyny swoich muzycznych możliwości wspięli się zarówno weterani jak i początkujący artyści.
Na festiwal reaktywowali się Blur. Wkrótce usłyszmy zapewne więcej o zespołach, które na Glastonbury zabłysły - Florence and The Machine, La Roux (Elly Jackson - zbieżność nazwisk niezamierzona), Regina Spektor, czy też Little Boots.
